it is like a punch to the gut, one that has dante reeling for a moment as his eyes look over the words again and again. he allowed dante to stay on the basis of helping him through the oncoming memories, to answer whatever questions would undoubtedly come up but... well he hasn't ever said that dante's presence anchors him - not at least to dante's face. he isn't certain how to feel on it, how to process it or any of the other emotions swirling about his head. ]
